Connecting the Outdoors

It has been so cold the past few days! Being this cold makes me wish and think of Spring and Summer weather, and about enjoying the outdoors. I love Pinterest and  looking for some inspiration, this house came across.  It is a beautiful contemporary single residence situated in Melbourne, Australia.

I love the entire space, my favorite being the flow between the indoors and outdoor area. Love the way the kitchen connects to the outdoor barbecue by opening the sliding door. I have posted only pictures of the kitchen/family area that connects to the patio. For more pictures and information visit Home Adore. Home Adore is my favorite page

Black and White, and Gray!

My absolute favorite(once again!) decorated home using just black, white and gray as a background to display beautiful pieces of modern art. Everybody already knows my passion for neutral spaces and lack of color has never been an issue for me, so when I saw this Dubai home, I could not help but to say WOW! Take a look at every detail throughout each room decorated by Studio M.

Show and Tell

My new favorite coffee table is the Display Coffee Table from CB2.  It's like one big shadow box that spans the sofa. Tempered glass pane tops it off to display your curated collection of books, magazines, objects of art, keepsakes, even succulent plants. Handy side cutouts make it easy to lift the top and arrange a new exhibit.

The Trays

I know it has been a while since my last post. I have been busy before and after the holidays but excited to be back. I have been doing an early Spring cleaning, organizing drawers, and moving furniture around,  great to have energy flow around the house.

One of my favorite home accessories are trays.  One can never have enough trays.  Trays not only help you get organize,  they also add instant style to any room.

My favorite trays are from West Elm, Design Within Reach and Pottery Barn. They offer different sizes and colors to complement your decor. Be brave and use a bold color in the kitchen or bathroom. Target also carries beautiful trays at affordable prices. Some trays can be painted in your favorite color, or you can even add designs to it. Love the idea of the tray table, which have the stand, which you could use as a bar. Design Within Reach has my favorite one, which compares to a piece of art!

Here are some ideas to inspire you!
